Kamal Panchal is the LGA’s senior adviser on transport and local growth policy. He has over 25 years’ experience of local government and in that time he has developed excellent professional relationships with local authorities, Government departments, including DfT, and a range of private sector and representative bodies across the highways and transport and business sector.
With a core membership of 335, the LGA is the national membership body for local authorities and we work on behalf of our member councils to support, promote and improve local government. The LGA has supported the development of the Highways Sector Council, and as a collaborator, is happy to continue to work closely with the sector to ensure better shared outcomes for our villages, towns and cities, the wider environment and users of transport networks.
