Group Managing Director for Kier Highways which employs 3,000 people and holds a market leading position with responsibility for some 20,000 miles of England’s strategic and local road networks which enable over 300 billion vehicle miles to be travelled each year. Kier Highways also undertakes strategic road building and renewal projects across the country. Previously Finance Director for the business for 11 years, has accumulated over 12 years experience in the sector, during which time Kier Highways grew from an annual turnover of £70m to over £900m.

A qualified Chartered Management Accountant with extensive post qualification experience in roles that have spanned operational and corporate finance, change management, process and business improvement.  This experience has been gained in several sectors including the NHS, automotive manufacturing, banking, construction and infrastructure, primarily in blue chip organisations but with SME experience also.

Focused on building long-term collaborative business relationships, including with clients and the supply chain, and actively engaged across the highways sector with peer group, clients, DfT and industry bodies.
